An Open Letter to the Women We’re Becoming
To the Women We’re Becoming,
How’s it going Girlie Pop?
I know the economy feels heavy right now. For many of us, finances feel tight, uncertain, stretching. But here’s the thing. That crushing you feel, sometimes to the point of exhaustion, is probably how the Israelites felt walking into their promised land.
Pressure did not mean they were out of alignment. It meant they were entering territory that required growth.
And here’s the thing: Everything meant to be enjoyed goes through a process that requires time, discipline, and the right conditions. Wine can’t be produced without the crushing of the grapes and the fermentation that follows in a dark hidden place. Oil does not flow without olives being pressed. Gold is not purified without fire. So don’t give up!
Here’s 3 practical principles to anchor your conviction when it comes to money:
Being disciplined with your budget requires being disciplined with your boundaries. Money rarely leaks from bad math alone. It leaks from unclear relationships.
Financial instability creates anxiety that you can’t solve spiritually only structurally. If you say you trust God as provider but you do not track what leaves your account, that is not faith. That is avoidance.
When you delay hard conversations, you bleed money. Overextending yourself to people who do not respect your time will cause delays and capacity lose for those who actually want your time and are willing to do what it takes to afford them.
And let me be clear about something. Not every financial struggle is a discipline problem. Some hardship is systemic. Some is circumstantial. Some is the result of injustice or seasons of transition. This is not a blanket statement against those realities.
But when provision exists and structure does not, that is not oppression. That is stewardship.
The Leverage Index is the shifting point when you realize you are the final outcome and The Wait Room is where you come to make room for that shift. God was never producing outcomes external to you… He was always producing them internally. So next time you feel the crushing, remember that God sometimes he’s repositioning you and that requires cleansing and tightening that may feel like the pressures of refinement.

TODAY’S FORM CHECK
Matthew 25:29
For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
These passages remind me that stewardship is spiritual before it is financial.

Father,
Expose where fear has disguised itself as wisdom.

Teach me to seek Your kingdom with discipline, not just desire.
Align my treasure with Your truth so my heart follows obedience.

Feeling the Pressure Yet? Here’s our encouragement:
When we come to Christ we have a burden that should be carried with the utmost elegance and grace. It’s not a burden to be carried alone but rather with a community of responsible believers.
If you’re locking in, bring someone with you!
Forward this. Share the link. Invite them into the tension—into the place where waiting for God becomes training with Him. We carry light, but we carry well. Let’s build this together.
You’re not broken. You’re not too late. You’re being conditioned by the call.
And pressure? That’s just a setup for power.
