Character is Built by Courage
As you start to walk in the fullness of Who You Are, one of the things you will notice is how difficult it can be at times to be courageous. Courage drives Character and the more you learn to stand firm in Who You Are, the more courage becomes a part of your daily living.

This week’s entry is different — because we’re doing something new.
We’re dropping our first video, and in it, we go deeper into what The Wait Room really is: not just a devotional, but a movement. A space where faith and pressure meet. A place where you're refined, not reduced.
In this new rhythm, we’re building community around real transformation. And it all starts with courage.
Before character is built, courage must lead. In Joshua 1, God doesn’t give Joshua a blueprint. He gives him a charge:
“Be strong and courageous… Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
God never asked Joshua to be fearless. He asked him to be faithful in spite of fear. That’s the kind of courage we’re calling on this week. Not the loud kind, but the obedient kind. The kind that moves forward when the plan feels bigger than your capacity.
TODAY’S FORM CHECK
Training Lesson: Where is God asking you to move with courage?
Despite whether you feel ready, God knows when he needs you to move. Take some time to take inventory of the areas of your life that cause you the most fear. What is God telling you concerning those areas?
How can you partner with God by leading with courage and walking in the path of obedience?

Feeling the Pressure Yet? Here’s our encouragement:
When we come to Christ we have a burden that should be carried with the utmost elegance and grace. It’s not a burden to be carried alone but rather with a community of responsible believers.
If you’re locking in, bring someone with you!
Forward this. Share the link. Invite them into the tension—into the place where waiting for God becomes training with Him. We carry light, but we carry well. Let’s build this together.
You’re not broken. You’re not too late. You’re being conditioned by the call.
And pressure? That’s just a setup for power.

Off Roading In Joshua Tree
I don’t write from a stage—I write from the trenches.
Sharing my intimacy with God isn’t easy, but I know it’s necessary. I’ve been blessed to experience God’s love and wisdom from such a young age and feel a strong duty to share it with those who want to experience it as deeply as I have.
My hope is that every word pushes you to do the hard thing and fight a little harder each day. I’m a Dominican-born, American-raised woman who loves learning about history, psychology, and the science behind how we’re wired.
You’ll hear me say things like It Builds Character, Remember who you are, and Life is a rollercoaster, enjoy the ride—because that’s how I live.
And if you’re here, I got you my love! You’re not waiting in vain or alone.
You’re conditioning for something greater and I’m right there with you!
